LOLA WELLS accepts scholarship from PROVIDENCE COLLEGE. Providence is a member school of the BIG EAST CONFERENCE. 2007 SUPER FLO BLUE UPDATE: Super Flo Blue finishes out the season with a Championship win over SWIFT Black in the Pacific Coast Shootout. It is the third time the two teams have met in a tournament final, SWIFT Black won earlier in the SWIFT May Hoops, and Super Flo Blue won last year's tournament final meeting in April. The PCS final was the third Championship Tournament appearance for Super Flo Blue in 2007, the other coming in the SWISH SUMMER tournament. Led By PH Hanson and Andrea Wertz, Super Flo Blue made it to the final by beating The Way To Win Gold. Kristen Riley, a key defender and shot blocker for San Clemente H.S. has verbally committed to BYU. Kristen will join the Mountain West Conference with the Tigers in 2008. Others: Jhakia McDonald (Magnolia) is headed to Arizona. After playing with YLSB, Jhakia spent the 2006 season with SUPER FLO BLUE. Meghan Curran (Aliso Niguel) will be playing at Sonoma State University. Amanda Franz (San Clemente) will be playing at Point Loma University. North South Shootout 15U Black coached by John Wells takes 3rd place in 15U Gold division.
